Earthful Marketing Pitch
As a requirement for one of my college admissions, I created a minute long pitch showcasing an idea for an innovative product that addressed a societal problem. I decided to animate a volunteering app to foster community and incentivize action in environmentalism. This marks the beginning of my journey into animation.

Visual Journal
I'm a person who loves to reminisce and I've always liked the idea of diaries and journals. At the same time, I have a ton of thoughts that don't generate into writing at once; I find it difficult to keep books like that because I always end up losing interest in the documentation process (this isn't to discredit the joy that others find in it of course). There comes a monotony for me in detailing my day in writing, and it becomes so easy to fall into a cyclical pattern of what I ate, and how I slept, almost writing for the sake of continuing.
Instead, I took a visual approach. Over two weeks, I animated how I felt every day. While tedious, venting my thoughts into colors and shapes proved to be an entirely different type of diary keeping, one that could share my intimate thoughts without giving away any details of the circumstances I was in but rather, the sheer feelings I had. This video results from 14 days of my shifting emotions, and an homage to the different art styles I chose to experiment with.
