🧠 The Psychological Impact of COVID-19 on College Students
My health science project for my first quarter of the UCI Honors Sustainable Societies track creatively showcases research on a topic of our choosing. Starting college remotely was one of the key reasons why I decided to touch on the psychological and behavioral alterations of college students in the wake of COVID-19.
Remote learning has taken a blow to mental health. Learning about the health implications of physical distancing and a lack of in-person education emphasizes the necessity to prioritize physical activities and for universities to offer more mental health resources, especially for young adults susceptible to mood disorders, trauma, or living in negative home environments.
